Maths - Temperature

Yesterday we had to learn about temperature.Which was that we had to work in 3 groups and for my group I had Mata and Levi R.As we were working along we had to find what is the temperature in the North,East,South and West.Then on the next day we had finished our maths and we had to present it in front of the class which we called it Glenbrae School Weather Forecast 2016.

Kiwi Can

Yeepy!Room 7 had 25 points in Kiwi Can.We worked so hard to get 25 which we also worked on Respect,Encouragement,Participation,Team Work and Positive Attitude.Today was one of our best day ever because we participated in our Energiser and Activity's.

At Kiwi Can we had a new Topic called "Accountability" it means like Doing the right thing all the time,being respectful and helpful,and being a role model to others.Then we had a game called "Buddy Buddy" For this activity you will need a partner so you can run around.Who ever is out they get to stand out of the game.One person has to Buddy Buddy left or right or under.But then one of the partner has to run around the circle.

Then we went back to kiwi Can Have a little talk and then play a Activity called Overtake.This game you will need 2 ball and teams surrounded around the circle.After that we had a game of GKQ with mean General Knowledge Quiz and we played.

After that we moved on to our points.I felt glad because we had 25 points.

Poetry Recital

In Room 7 I had to recite my poem in front of the class.When I had to stand up and recite my poem I was kind of shy.So the poem that I wrote was about Being Beautiful and it was about when you grow up and wanted to be beautiful.No matter if anyone say's you look ugly but just be yourself.

Auckland Town Centre

Hooray!On Monday the 13th of June 2016 Room 7 and some senior students had an opportunity to go on a trip to the Auckland Town Centre.When we got there we went inside the hall an sat down.Their was a school called Glenbrook,Glendon and St Therese.

Our class stayed back in the hall because their were Performer's who were ready to perform.The name of the performer's was Charlie,Izzie,Emma and this other lady.We were splitted up into groups half of them went to Charlie and some of them went to Izzie and Emma.For our session we had to do beats and make up a movement with a partner.

Then we had morning tea outside.After that we had to go to this room where their were Maori Students who were performing.Next we had our lunch and then we went to our last session.This session was about workshop and dance movement.One group had to stay and do a workshop and then we had to swap over to the other side where we had to do dance movement.

At the end we had to go back to the hall and get our bag so we can head back to school.I learnt so much from the workshop and other things that I was happy about.
