Recount about Ripper Rugby

On Tuesday the 15th of March 2016.We had a coach named Matt and he was from the Varsity Club.Matt came to teached us Ripper rugby. He asked us questions like what is Ripper rugby.

For our warm up we had a game called ball tag. That's when you have a ball and you have to tag others. After that he said to line up so we can run and pass the ball to each other. Then he said to get a belt and a tag so we can play a game of bull rush. When I was running Hemi ripped off my tag and I only had one tag left. After that we said bull rush and everyone was running towards us.

At Ripper rugby I learnt that when you are passing the ball, you have to look where it’s going and communicate with others.

Today I felt excited because we were going to play Ripper Rugby and have a fun.20160315_092445.jpg20160315_092508.jpg

On Saturday 28th November 2015, some students from Glenbrae School went on a trip to the company OMG Tech, we got to explore around like things that can work and things that does not work. When I got to school their were students already their,so we had to wait at the hall for Miss Elia and Mrs Addcock.

Firstly, when we arrived at the OMG Tech their were heaps of People and students from other schools.Miss Elia and Mrs Addcock had to wait in line but they told us to go and explore.

Next, they called everyone of us to go and sit on the stairs to give instructions. The groups had to go in order like whoever is in Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 they have to go to their extension.

I was in group 2 and we had to go to 3D printing then we had to go unmaking, Coding.
After coding we had lunch before we moved onto the next one.Our next activity was science and we blowed balloons and putted a stick through the balloon.

Finally our last activity was Robotics, we were asked to get into partners but I didn’t have any partner to I asked for help and their was a guy who came and helped me.I was trying to make to the red line but I didn’t because I made 2 turns before it went pass.

I had fun because got to learn about How Robotics Work.

The Asthma Show

Today, on a sunny morning, we had a show on asthma in the Glenbrae School Hall. This show was hosted by a man named Chris who was dressed in a blue suit and looked so handsome.

Chris talked to us about Asthma.Chris said that Asthma was really bad and it affected our lungs and breathing.People feel as if they are breathing in a small straw.

We learnt from Chris that Asthma was caused by Flower pollen, Smoke, Virus, Animal fur, Dust Mites and Cold air.He told us that we could use the asthma inhaler to help us breath if we suffer.

Later on in the show,Chris introduced a fish named Sailor, The fish Sailor is the big fat orangey and greeny. Sailor was a funny fish because he flipped his tail when Chris was singing a song about asthma.

Blessie Gotinco's Body

Blessie trial: Neighbour heard loud music from accused's apartment.

Blessie Gotingco's body was lifted from a car in a cemetery, dragged across grass and dumped in bush, a forensic scientist has told a court.
A 27-year-old man, who has name suppression, is representing himself in his trial for the rape and murder of Philippines-born Ms Gotingco at the High Court in Auckland.
The Crown alleges the accused deliberately ran down the 56-year-old with his car on May 24, 2014, before raping and murdering her at his North Shore apartment and dumping her body at a cemetery.
This afternoon the court heard from a series of police witnesses and a forensic scientist about the scene where Ms Gotingco's body was discovered in Eskdale Cemetery.
Police found blood and obvious signs of damage on a car belonging to Ms Gotingco's murder-accused.
Detective Shane Page examined the accused's car in the days following the murder.
Its front bumper had a clean split with no dirt inside, which indicated it was recent, he said.
The right side of the bumper was held on by a piece of string that "looked like a shoelace", and the  passenger side wing mirror was held on with duct tape.
Inside the back seat on the passenger side, about a metre of a seat belt had been cut and was missing, and he could see scratches on the seat. The man accused of murdering Auckland woman Blessie Gotingco (3 News)
