Science Experiment - Sound

Hooray! Room 7 had a Science Experiment on Seeing Sound.We had to be in 3 groups to work it out.

Resources :

1. Jar
2. Balloons
3. Scissors
4. Sugar

Question - What did we do?

1. First we had to get a Jar then take of the lid.
2. Then we had to the balloon and then stretch it over the the Jar.
3. Next we had to get some sugar and put it over the balloon.
4. Finally we had to Hmmmmm so the sugar can move.

Question - What did you See?

My group saw the Sugar moving.But if you put too much sugar then it won´t move.

Science Project - Volcano

This Science experiment was Fun because I got to tip the Vineger and the Baking Soda In the bottle.

Hooray!Today on the 4th of July Kakapo and Pukeko reading group had a Science Project on Volcanoes.

Things we needed :

• Clay
• Vinegar
• Baking Soda
• Dish washing Liquid
• Red Food Colouring 
• Piece of card
• Small jar

Step 1 : We had to get a piece of card, then get a bottle or jar and place it in the middle of the paper. Get the clay and place it around the Jar.

Some of our Boys went outside to put food colouring inside the Vinegar.Then Kakapo and Pukeko went outside.

Step 2 :Place the card with the bottle on the ground.Then one person had the vinegar,one person had the baking soda,one person had the dish washing liquid.

Step 3 :First we put the baking soda in the jar.Then the dish washing liquid.Next was Vinegar.

When we did it, the Volcano exploded slowly.When the volcano exploded we kept on tipping it out and re doing it all over again.

This Science Experiment was fun because I got to tip in the baking soda and vinegar in the bottle

Church

Yeepy!!! Today the 1st of July 2016, I had to get ready and go to church which means that someone is going to pray to our lovely God in Heaven.My family had to come to church because we feel sorry for the people who comes to church and those people who never comes to church God will never bless them.Our church starts at 6:00 pm.Let's start our day.

First we have to stand up and sing with a hymn.Then we have to sit back down and close our eyes because we are going to pray.Next we are going to sing a song and then sit back down so our Nana's,Mothers and Fathers can go on their knees and start praying on their own.The person who read out the hymn's has finished and that mean's that they have to come out from the front and sit down in a chair.After that then the priest comes out and prays for the last time.

I had fun at church Because I get to sing to the lord and ask him for help in school time.
