Reflection - P.E

Today (Room 7) had P.E for netball.(Mrs Tofa) our teacher had half of the class playing netball and the rest went to (our new Student Teacher) from Auckland University Miss Ogram. We went through the rules so everyone knows, also everyone was participating in the netball game. The position were GS,GA,WA,WD,GD,C so there is only seven player.

When I was playing, my position was GD,GK,GS.Every game was 6 minute cause we didn't have that much time.From this lesson I learned every rule which was pretty amazing and awesome, by the way I was so exhausted.

Rules:

• No Contact's( 3 foot away from the person who has the ball)
• No offside's
• No shot passes
• You can't slap the ball of the opponent(Punch the ball, or snatch it off
• No passing the ball from the court to the other side of the court

We had a reflection on what we had learnt and more....

Netball Session

Hooray!On Thursday 26th May 2016 Room 7 had an opportunity to play Netball.We had a coach named Anne she is from the Auckland Netball.

For our first warm up was Shadow follower which only let’s you defend the ball but not your face.Then we had an Activity called Intercepting.You will need 1 ball and 4 players to play this game.It is like this so 2 students pass the ball to each other and 1 of the students try’s to go across so they can get the ball.For our next activity it was called 4 corner attacking/defending.For this game you need 4 ball’s and 4 students and some defending and attacking.So when you call a number 1 to 4 then that person has to pass to the attacker and the defender has to try and intercept.

Finally our last game was Shooting.You need heaps of student to play this game.The team has to be splitted up and they have to number you.1 to 13.When they call out your number you have to run and get the ball and pass it to your team mate but you have to go under the pole to shoot.

I felt Happy because I had 2 shots in  the hoop.

Netball

On Thursday 19th of May 2016 Room 7 had a opportunity to play Netball.The coaches name was Anne.The skills that she taught us was how to jump with two feet and bend your knees.Then the next skill that she taught us was piveting with one leg.

For our warm up we played High and low.For this game it includes nothing but you need a partner.Our coach Anne had to say high it means run to the middle and jump and then hi five.High is just the same as low.After that we a game called Rugby/Netball.This game includes one ball and bibs.Some students had to wear no bibs and wear bibs.We had to try and pass down to our team so we can get a point but we have to use our skills.When we want to get a ball we have to bounce it and score a point.

I felt tired because I was running and defending the other team.
