Fear

On a fine sunday morning, my Nana woke me up and told me to go and find some clothes for Sunday School.On that morning I had nothing to eat and my stomach was rumbling like it’s saying to me,”go and eat”, but I was just thinking in my mind not to go and eat or I will get a sore stomach when I go to Sunday school.

My mum told me to hurry up and get ready but I said it’s too cold, she said, hurry up before it’s 10:00 and I saw her face, she was angry.I had fear and that fear came out of nowhere because my mum was going to growl me, but then she didn’t.

Then I started to get up and get ready.Once I was finished, me and my siblings went to Sunday school.When we arrived we had to go to our own classes and also we had a test to do.When our priest said that there is going to be other priests coming in to test us,I was like !Oh No! I didn’t learn it, there were heaps of fear inside my stomach.As the test finished I was happy that it was over.

After that, church started it started at 11:00.When we stood up to sing nobody sang, so then I had to sing out loud.The only thing that I was afraid of was if I sing I might make a mistake and then I will have more fear and not have any more confident.

Finally church finished, I was so glad everything was over.On that sunday night when my parents came back, Me and my Nana got in the van with my sister and my brother.Once we got in it smelled weird, so then my mum came outside and tried take the smell away from the van.

My mum told my dad to get a vivid and write this word on my back and she putted oil on my head that was mixed with Vix and some kind of other ingredients.Later on I was all fed with my fear and so then we left and went back to my house.The funny part is that I was supposed to sleep at my Nana’s house, but then I came back with my sister to go and sleep with my little brother.

Technology - Tamaki College Reflection

Today Friday 14th of October 2016, Year 7 & Year 8's had technology.The year 7's were with Mr Grundy and his workshop.In Mr Grundy's workshop he has dangerous tools and he has his own rules and also we craft woods and make metal necklaces.His rules are Always make sure you wear close shoes,Never fiddle and never pass this yellow line.

My part was that I had finished my work, but I am on  to tracing the picture that I want to do on a cardboard.The sad thing is that I thought I would finish but then I didn't so then we came back to school.

Kiwi Can - 2016

Every Thursday Room 7 always have Kiwi Can.Room 7 had a new theme called RESPECT and a new topic called FOR OUR SCHOOL.First kiwi can greeted us in Niuen - Fakalofa lahi Atu.

Next we had a quick game of core values.This game you need 4 cones with 4 values sticked on to it and 2 taggers in the middle.When Mr Numia Called out a value then we had to run to that value.After that we had to go back inside to continue our lesson.Miss Tuia gave us questions about What are Values?.So then we had to answer it and for our activity it was role plays.Mr Numia had to split us into 5 groups and try to act out a value and other groups have to guess what was our role play about.

Our role play was about appreciation but we were not allowed to say the word.We were the last group and when the other groups had finished their role play, they had to try and guess what was our one, it was hard for them to answer it.

I felt happy because I learned about values.

Kiwi Can - Reflection

Yeepy!Today Thursday the 22nd of September,Room 7 had their last session of Kiwi Can.Once we got there we did a quick round of GKQ and had a quick talk about our theme and topic from last week.These are the 3 topics that we talked about,Goal Setting,Problem Solving and Perseverance. Then we had a game of Multi Sport outside at the Glenbrae School courts. 

First we got splitted up into 2 groups, so 1 group was at the other side and the other group goes to the other side.Mr Numia kept on calling out numbers so we can run.After all our hard running both teams got 8-8 which was a tie.After that we had to sit down in a circle and talked about what we learned so far.

I learned that when you can't finish of your work, keep on trying before you ask the teacher for help.

I felt unhappy because we finished kiwi can until next term, but then I wanted to have more.

Sience Intensive - Magnet

Today we had science intensive in Room 10 with Mrs Moopanar.The learning that she taught us was how magnet works and how it attracts other metal magnets.Here are some questions that we gave Mrs Moopanar.The magnet is compatible,Metal,Sticks Together and magnetic Force.Here are the non items that the magnet cannot hold paper,plastic,brass,grass and carpets.There were heaps of other activities that we had done with the magnet.I learned so much about magnet and I hope that I do the same activity next time.
