Trip to Butterfly Creek
WALT: We are learning to write a Recount.
On Monday the 9th of March 2015,years 6,7 and 8 had a trip to Butterfly Creek near the auckland airport at Mangere. We traveled by a big white swasbrook bus.The main purpose was that we had to learn about dinosaurs and fossils.
First we hopped off the bus and we all lined up into our class line. Then we had one of the helpers named sunita welcomed us to go through the gate so we can have our morning tea.
Next sunita told the teachers after we finish our lunch then we meet her at a house with dinosaur information. After that we met a man named paul and he was one of the butterfly Creek keeper. Then paul was asking us questions and we had to answer them. When he had finish giving us questions then sunita told us to line up so we can go through activities.
After we did all the activities,Sunita took us for a train ride and me and Mateaki saw 2 fat pigs eating hays and our driver was Sunita. Finally we had our lunch before we went to the croc show.
I felt really excited because I learnt a lot about dinosaurs.
